Prior to becoming an insurance agent in 1989, Sarah enjoyed the many years she spent with her family as a stay-at-home mom. She got her start in the insurance industry working as a secretary for her family business in 1989. Once she began working in the business, she couldn’t get away from it and decided to get her insurance license. Right after getting her license, Hurricane Hugo hit and their business went off the rails which kept her locked in. Recognizing the need, Sarah decided to go to school to get licensed in Charleston, SC taking many courses and exams to become a licensed insurance agent. 

Sarah had just come into the office to help out those many years ago. At that time, she never would have dreamed that one simple decision would’ve carved out a whole new life path in the field of insurance. Sarah says that she’s done insurance for so long now, that many of her customers are now great friends that depend on her. Sarah’s clients have come to depend on her because they have grown with her over the years and do not trust anyone else. Even after Covid19 hit, her clients would still come into the office for payments and to do business because of the immense amount of trust that they hold in Sarah’s business.

Sarah Judy opened up Sarah Judy’s Insurance Agency back in March of 1989 and has been a member of the Independent Insurance Agents since this time. Sarah Judy’s Insurance Agency has been servicing Colleton County and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We started out specializing in mobile home insurance. My daughter Terri Judy then joined the agency in 2010. Now we are able to offer a variety of insurance and business products for you. We offer mobile home, house, rental, renters, recreational, vehicle, commercial auto, business policies, and more. As your preferred insurance agency, we promise to provide personal service and confidence for all your insurance needs. While Sarah enjoys working hard for her clients, during her down time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and working in her yard.
